At least 26 people were killed and three others were wounded in northeastern Nigeria after improvised explosive devices exploded in two cars, Reuters reported, citing local residents.
The incident occurred in Borno state, where extremist groups, including Boko Haram, have been active for many years.
The vehicles were traveling on the highway connecting the villages of Ran and Gamboru Ngala. The injured were taken to the nearest hospital.
