Indiscreet about the latest Lamborghini Lanzador - 1

The Italian car manufacturer Lamborghini, known for its bold decisions, is working on its first electric supercar. While Ferrari is already testing its electric prototypes, Lamborghini remains cautious and reveals details about its project only when necessary.

The president of the company Stefan Winkelmann in a recent interview talked about the future of the brand, which, despite only having three models in the line, has already sold out all its cars until 2026. One of the most anticipated novelties will be the first fully electric Lamborghini - Lanzador, whose premiere is scheduled for 2028.

Lanzador will be the fourth model in the Lamborghini line and will combine the characteristics of a grand tourer and a sports coupe. The car will retain the two-door layout, but will have increased ground clearance, making it more versatile for everyday use.

Unlike the popular Urus, however, the Lanzador won't be intended for family use, instead offering sporty styling with some practicality thanks to its increased ground clearance.

Lamborghini had been considering an electric sedan based on the Estoque concept since 2008, but according to Winkelmann, the long wheelbase required for this type of car didn't fit Lamborghini's expected design. That's why the company instead chose a raised grand tourer that meets modern comfort and safety requirements.

Lanzador will be the brand's first all-electric car, while retaining Lamborghini's signature styling. The company will continue to develop its technologies to meet the expectations of customers who appreciate the combination of style, power and innovative solutions.
