We have an extremely strong candidacy in the person of Assoc. Nataliya Kiselova and we hold on to her. Dragomir Stoynev from the "BSP-United Left" coalition said this on bTV. on the election of the Speaker of the National Assembly, quoted by novini.bg.

It is not by chance that we started our talks with the Minister of Finance to find out what is the state of the country at the moment and what is to come. A startling picture is ahead. We support taxes on banks' excess profits, we want a new tax to cancel the concessions. We also propose changes in the tax legislation. We all want European income, that's why we made proposals for the budget for 2025. We are categorically against freezing the promised increases in the sphere of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in defense, he explained.
„ We talked with GERB about the need for stability, because the disaster is complete. While we are playing elections, three factories have closed in our country, 3,000 people are left on the street and there is no accountability. However, we are a left-wing force, we made our coalition before the elections and increased our result. it is the job of the right-wing forces to find common ground. If now the leaders of GERB and PP-DB do not find an understanding, they will become redundant for Bulgarian politics, Stoynev is categorical.
“I know that we are the most reasonable political force, with the most experience, but more than ever, Bulgaria needs a socially engaged government, but not a Euro-Atlantic one, but a pro-Bulgarian one. We will go with the necessary respect to any party that invites us for talks, he added.
About the sanitary cordon around Delyan Peevski, proposed by PP-DB, he asked: „Did you see them today in the parliament? They frankly hate each other. It is settling accounts or preparing for an election campaign. We will not allow a campaign to be entered without them trying to form a government. There were many sanitary cordons around the BSP. We are against clearing accounts.”
On the accusations that the BSP was sold, Stoynev stressed: “There must be a dialogue in politics. This is not “brokerage”. For people outside the BSP who comment – and I want the driving seats to be 62, but there are only 31. There is no way that everyone can be a driver. Rumen Ovcharov is a respected person in the BSP, despite his shameful spot on the “Magnitsky” list. So through the media it looks like defamation. I don't know why the old politicians are unhappy that we have improved the results of the party.”
