"There is a real crisis with places in kindergartens and nurseries. Because in 1 year, Boris Bonev and Vasil Terziev failed to build the objects bequeathed to them. They didn't have a single new project - 0 projects for kindergartens in Budget 2024. According to GERB projects, there should have been 1,400 places with nursery groups included. "Sofia deserves our serious attention. Boris Bonev and Vasil Terziev are time thieves – they are stealing from Sofia's time. These skits they play are offensive to all of us," Hekimyan believes.
He commented on the proposal of the capital's mayor to declare January 3, 2025 unschoolable: "In Sofia there are so many cases to solve, so many problems. Why don't they solve them? Why don't they boast that they solved one of the gigantic problems in Sofia? We do not deny that January 3 is a help for parents – very nice idea. But what did they do in a year?"
"Many of the promises did not come true. Sofia is much more congested and dirty. Vasil Terziev is failing as mayor," Hekimyan said.
