Bogdan Bogdanov, PP-DB: There is no rift in the coalition - 1

There is no rift in "We continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria". My colleagues and I are in good sync at the moment on the main priorities that are key for us. And as much as some Babaites wish there was a rift, there is no such rift. This is what he commented in the studio of "The day begins with Georgi Lyubenov" MP from PP-DB and former Minister of Economy Bogdan Bogdanov.

"We had a very clear priority at the very beginning, I think on the fourth vote for the election of the Speaker of the National Assembly. We explained what the viewpoints of "Continuing the Change" are, what the viewpoints of "Democratic Bulgaria" are. After all, we still have a chance to elect a president next week. And if we have a sufficient majority, in the case of BSP and "Yes Bulgaria", we have the arguments of "Yes Bulgaria", but in the end we show what a democratic process is. We show that although we are different as people, as parties, we are for this and we are not one party, we are different, this is why we are a coalition and that is why we try to find the best in our differences and to find this compromise as well , which is necessary so that we can move the country forward", said Bogdanov.

According to him, if you follow the processes of the last two weeks, you can see that they were the only ones who withdrew their candidate for the Speaker of the National Assembly in the person of Andrey Tsekov:

"We withdrew it. We stepped on a parliamentary principle to support the oldest of us. We had a clarion call with the priorities that needed to be set. And here "We Continue the Change" supports Silvi Kirilov, but this is not unconditional. We support with specific goals that should be included in the program of the National Assembly."

Despite all five votes, GERB still insists that there should be unconditional support for them, but they will not get it this way from anyone, Bogdanov added.
