A team of the Emergency Rescue Team of the Pernik Municipality rescued a woman who was lost and her car got stuck in a mud puddle, the rescue team told BTA.
The woman had gone unprepared on a trip out of town in her personal car in the direction of the Divotinsky Monastery "St. Trinity". After nearly thirty minutes of driving, she found herself high in the Lyulin Mountains, where the terrain was very rugged and wet from the rain that had fallen overnight.
In an attempt to drive through a large muddy puddle, her car got stuck, the Emergency Rescue Team explained.
The woman's location was immediately determined, and in less than 30 minutes the team was on site to pull out the broken-down car. The woman who was helped contacted a BTA correspondent to express her gratitude to the team that responded to the emergency call.
Such walks can sometimes end in an unfavorable outcome, the rescue team pointed out and recommended that everyone who intends to enter unknown forest areas should warn their loved ones, not to underestimate nature and its conditions, regardless of the season. The most important thing is that the car they are leaving with is in good technical condition and with enough fuel.
