Former caretaker Prime Minister Prof. Georgi Bliznashki explained that in his opinion Rumen Radev has not entered into his role as head of state.
„He has adopted an attacking style against the government. This is due to the fact that the initial idea for his introduction into politics was to remove Boyko Borisov from political life. The role of the president is completely different – he must reconcile the parties“, he said in the program “Offensive“ on NOVA NEWS.
According to him, it all started when Rumen Radev went out to the square and waved his fists. “It was an ill-considered action, he did not realize the consequences and this did not lead to major upheavals in the country“, added the former prime minister.
According to him, Bulgaria has a great achievement and this is the 1991 Constitution, according to him it is the best law in Central and Eastern Europe.
“We must do everything possible to preserve it“, he urged.
Prof. Georgi Bliznashki presented his second volume of the book dedicated to constitutional law – “Institutions“.
