From "BSP - United Left" are ready to start talks on forming a supra-party majority in the National Assembly. Yesterday, the formation sent a letter to the groups of PP-DB, "Vazrazhdane", APS, ITN and MECH with an invitation to a meeting.
Today Rumen Petkov explained that the consultations initiated by them are a last attempt to find a political solution to get out of the crisis:
"A conversation like this is necessary. He is not necessarily in front of the cameras. He should be directed towards finding the solution. It assumes an acceptable figure. We cannot run away from the possibility that this figure will also be a possible prime minister, which implies a decision that does not frighten traditional political forces and that from here on the priorities of a president are perfectly clear, however short-lived his path may be, and we we need calmness."
