More vegetables on the stock exchanges in the country are increasing in price this week, according to the data in the weekly bulletin of the State Commission on Commodity Exchanges and Markets (DKSBT).
The market price index (MPI), which reflects the movement of wholesale food prices in our country, rose by 0.42 percent to 2,167 points during the week. Last week the ITC was at the level of 2.158 points. The base level of ITC - 1,000 points, is from 2005
All vegetables monitored by the DKSBT increased in price this week, with the exception of carrots, which became cheaper by 2.8 percent to BGN 1.17 per kilogram. In the case of greenhouse cucumbers, the growth is by 12.2 percent to 3.23 BGN per kilogram, while in the case of greenhouse tomatoes, it is by 4.6 percent and they are traded at BGN 3.49 per kilogram. In the case of potatoes, the price is up by 1 percent to BGN 1.21 per kilogram. Ripe onions are more expensive by 2.3 percent to BGN 1.09 per kilogram, and cabbage by 12.1 percent to BGN 1.28 per kilogram. The price of green salad jumps by 4.2 percent to BGN 1.05 per kilogram, and that of ripe garlic by 0.2 percent to BGN 5.73 per kilogram.
For fruits, the biggest drop in price was observed for mandarins - 11.7 percent to 2.57 leva per kilogram, followed by oranges, which were 7.4 percent cheaper and traded at 2.29 BGN per kilogram. Grapefruits are also taking a back seat – by 1.6 percent to BGN 2.46 per kilogram. Apples are more expensive again, this time by 4 percent to BGN 1.84 per kilogram, and a similar increase is observed in lemons – 4.3 per cent and a price of BGN 2.32 per kilogram. For bananas, the increase is minimal – 0.2 percent to BGN 2.74 per kilogram.
The price of cow's cheese jumps by 1.2 percent to BGN 11.39 per kilogram, and that of "Vitosha" type cheese. - by 0.1 percent to BGN 17.23 per kilogram.
Yogurt (3 and over 3 percent fat content) became cheaper by 2.3 percent and it is bought at BGN 1.28 for a bucket of 400 grams, while fresh milk (3 percent fat content) increased in price by 0.1 per hundred to BGN 2.42 per liter.
The price of chicken meat is down by 1.2 percent to BGN 6.28 per kilogram, and that of eggs (size M) is up by 0.6 percent to BGN 0.33 per wholesale.< /p>
Rice is cheaper by 1 percent and reaches BGN 3.31 per kilogram. Lentils are more expensive by 11.6 percent and are respectively BGN 4.81 per kilogram, and ripe beans – by 0.4 percent and it is traded at BGN 4.37 per kilogram.
Sugar became cheaper by 0.6 percent and was traded at BGN 1.93 per kilogram, and oil by 2.1 percent to BGN 3.02 per liter. The price of cow butter (pack of 125 grams) also moved downwards - by 0.7 percent to BGN 3.05 per piece, as well as that of type 500 flour - by 3.8 percent to BGN 1.28 per kilogram .
