A man was fatally hit by a train on the railway line between the Poduyane Passenger - Sofia stations. The incident happened around 8 pm last night. The initial version is that the man crossed the tracks illegally.
Due to the incident, there was a huge delay for some of the trains that had to cross the line.
Part of the passengers were taken by buses from Poduyane station to Sofia station.
The fast train from Varna to Sofia arrived last night 168 minutes late, the train from Sofia to September was 130 minutes late.
This is the second incident in the area within a week. Transport chaos occurred with trains due to a person being hit on the tracks on November 30, again at Poduyane station.
