Association “Transparency without Borders“ presents the annual results of the Local Index
study integrity system for 2024
The index of the Local Integrity System is implemented by the Association “Transparency without Borders“ since 2015 and has repeatedly demonstrated the positive results in stimulating municipalities to good governance and limiting corrupt practices through the creation of a “good“ competition and the exchange of good
practices between them.
Municipalities with a high degree of integrity should have priority access to investments and financing. During the event, we will also present what the research found for 2024. regarding the contribution of the municipal council, mayor, municipal administration, political parties, business, the media, the civil sector and
the municipal health care for the prevention of corruption at the local level.
The focus of the event is the fight against corruption at the local level, which will allow us to deepen the conversation about regional development, investment and assistance in developing the capacity for effective, transparent and accountable governance.
