The opposition position is very convenient, but the real work is done in power.
This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by Elisaveta Belobradova, a member of "Yes, Bulgaria" (part of "Democratic Bulgaria") and MP from the PP-DB PG, emphasizing that the DB has always set objective conditions for participation in power:
"For us, it will always be an aspiration for the power to be the one that leads Bulgaria forward and establishes our country in the heart of Europe".
In her words, the current state governance aims to conclude deals that benefit the parties participating in it:
"We see a fragmentation and control of the state by Delyan Peevski, who stands behind GERB and GERB is increasingly losing its face, unfortunately, it is increasingly becoming a wing of "DPS-New Beginning". ... The goals of the current government are not those that we share, so I do not imagine us coming to power in this National Assembly. We will fight so that the government is always oriented towards preserving Bulgaria's place among the EU countries and towards legality.
We are a systematic and responsible political force, said Elisaveta Belobradova:
"The issue of the coalition with "We continue the change" is a matter for the new bodies of "Yes, Bulgaria" - what path the party will take forward. This does not mean that we have conflicts or there is any problem".
Belobradova explained her withdrawal from the final phase of the election of the chairman of "Yes, Bulgaria", even though she was nominated and participated in the debates in which she presented her vision for the party, by saying that "the stability of the party was much more important than anything else".
""The expansion of "Yes, Bulgaria" will be a focus in the work of the two leaders. And I am absolutely convinced that they will succeed. The other goal will be greater integration of "Democratic Bulgaria" so that we can expand our influence in the right-wing space of the political terrain. In the party, we make decisions as a team and we work extremely well together," she emphasized.
