Vasil Terziev: We will go to elections and win them. With ideas and work, not with clubs and harassment - 1

Those who lost the elections in Sofia have used all means, permitted and prohibited, to prevent a new, true and civilized European government in the capital of Bulgaria. This is what Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev said on Facebook regarding the decision of the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC), which finally terminated Georgi Kuzmov's powers as mayor of the capital's "Oborishte" district ahead of schedule, BTA reports.

Mayor Terziev recalls that the SAC also recently decided that the Municipal Election Commission should remove the mayor of the "Iskar" district from office. The court decisions are not commented on, but in this case we cannot help but notice that both decisions go against the interpretation of the Commerce Act by undisputed authorities and only admit that what the district mayor was removed for is not exactly commercial activity … it was something similar, the mayor said on the social network. “It doesn't matter much – we are going to the elections and we will win them. Again. Even more convincingly," declares Mayor Terziev.

According to him, the economic majority in the Sofia Municipal Council understands well what "commercial activity" means, but not the one for which they remove the mayor of "Iskar" or the mayor of "Oborishte". Over the years, the Sofia Municipality has become an example of how private business is done with public funds. A tool for some people to live a good life that they did not deserve with work and achievements, but with convenient complicity in serious outrages with the resources of our city, Terziev wrote. That is why, according to him, his administration has been subjected to "all kinds of attacks and sabotage" from day one. "The economic majority and the "privatized" institutions want this happy timelessness to continue. Let us disappear. Let us give up. Let's wave the white flag", writes the mayor.

"I have news - you have confused the opponents. We are not going anywhere. We are tired of listening to a handful of aggressive people explaining to us that only they can govern, that only they know the solutions - yes, definitely, but solutions for how to be last in every important ranking at the European Union level", declares Vasil Terziev. We will go to elections and we will win them. With ideas and work, not with clubs and harassment, he adds.

"On this occasion, I would like to ask about the decision in another case of the Supreme Administrative Court. The one in the "expedited" proceedings for the case in which (allegedly) Vanya Grigorova is challenging my election as mayor of the Sofia Municipality. The same thing that the Sofia City Administrative Court (SCAC) ruled on in July and confirmed my election as mayor of Sofia, Terziev writes. The same thing that the expert opinion shows that I am being deprived of votes. The instructive, i.e. the recommended, deadline of the Supreme Administrative Court expired on October 15. There is no decision, it is still being waited for - something extremely atypical in fast proceedings, the mayor of the capital adds.
