According to him, the fact that GERB-SDF and “Democratic Bulgaria” have reached an agreement to work on a joint management agreement is not news. And he pointed out that the position of ITN and “BSP - United Left” on forming a cabinet with the first mandate is important.
Kostadinov rejected the claim that after January 1, it will not be possible to collect health contributions and that there will be no minimum pension. He pointed out that such statements are aimed at scaring people. “The fixed VAT rates will continue to operate in the way the budget worked in 2024”, the MP added.
The politician categorically stated that “Vazrazhdane” will not support the submitted Budget for 2025. “It was created to force Bulgaria into the eurozone, but in fact it sacrifices all national and economic interests and condemns millions of people. All this is being done so that we can enter a 3% deficit. There is also falsification of inflation data”, he claimed.
Kostadinov pointed out that an increase in the price of electricity is planned, which will lead to a jump in the price of fuel. “This will cause a double-digit increase in inflation in the first months of 2025”, he said. According to him, prices were deliberately kept down to keep inflation low and to enter the eurozone.
