Under the leadership and supervision of the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office, an investigation is being conducted after immediate actions were taken by the SDVR in connection with a fire in a carriage at the Central Station in Sofia, in which four people died and two others were seriously injured and hospitalized.
Currently, all possible versions of the fire are being investigated - both for an intentional act and for an accidental incident.
Immediate actions have been taken to collect and preserve evidence and to establish all facts and circumstances of the case. Witnesses have been questioned, the scene has been inspected, material evidence has been seized, expert examinations have been ordered, and other investigative actions are being taken.
The investigation into the case continues, the state prosecution announced.
