The deadline for proposals between the two readings on the amendments to the Judiciary Act was reduced to 3 days  - 1

The Parliament voted to reduce the deadline for submitting proposals between the first and second readings on the amendments to the Judiciary Act from 7 to 3 days.

The proposal was adopted with 220 votes "for", and one vote "against".

Yesterday, the Committee on Constitutional and Legal Affairs agreed to prepare a joint draft based on the bills adopted on the first vote for amendments to the Judiciary Act.

On Wednesday - at the eleventh hour of the session, the deputies adopted on first reading the bills of the PP-DB, "Vazrazhdane" and ITN on the Judiciary Act. The amendments could lead to the blocking of the election of Borislav Sarafov as Prosecutor General.
