Vasil Tonchev: Peevski wants to replace ITN and DB as partners of Borisov's party, but this cannot happen

"A possible triple coalition with the support of 107 votes will be stable in terms of its position in parliament, but the participants will not do much work. Vasil Tonchev: Peevski wants to replace ITN and DB as partners of Borisov's party, but this cannot happen - 1

Delyan Peevski will fight for influence in a possible regular cabinet. I even think that “DPS - New Beginning” will vote like the ruling party on many issues. The formation's contacts, outside of official positions, with the new executive branch, will be much stronger, and so DB will have to take on an opposition role. He stated this in the studio of “Denyat na Zievo” sociologist Vasil Tonchev.
“A possible triple coalition with the support of 107 votes will be stable in terms of its position in parliament, but the participants will not do much work. For example, in the regulators they will not be able to achieve a qualified majority and make changes. It is reasonable for each party in the coalition to have a deputy prime minister post”, he explained.
According to him, 126 MPs can support a possible cabinet, including the “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms”. “Dogan's people will have posts at lower levels, but it is not profitable to have their cadres in the cabinet itself. This would lead to the electoral withdrawal of the parties participating in the government. The most serious negotiations of GERB-SDF were with DB. Peevski will not easily surrender his influence and positions. He wants to replace ITN and DB as partners of Borisov's party, but that can't happen”, Tonchev commented.

According to him, BSP could fall below 4% in the elections because Kornelia Ninova and a possible project by Rumen Radev would take voters to the left.
