"In connection with the recent frequent publications citing the number of advisors in the office cabinet I lead, I would like to make the following clarification - during both mandates, out of the 23 available under the organizational regulations, I have worked with six advisors appointed to the political cabinet, a head of the cabinet and an assistant in the first mandate and with five advisors in the second". This was written by former caretaker Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev on his Facebook profile.
In April 2024, it was reported that Glavchev had a record number of advisors in his political cabinet - 23. Such changes were recorded in the organizational regulations of the Council of Ministers and its administration.
"All allegations of “record appointments” are outright lies and insinuations and are certainly not in anyone's interest, even if that was the goal of their authors," the former caretaker prime minister also wrote.
