The atmosphere before the election of the heads of regulators is too partisan and politicized. If one has to choose between a decision that is good for the country and one that is good for the respective political force, the second one is chosen. This was stated by the deputy chairman of the Association of Industrial Capital Kancho Stoychev in “From the Day” on BNT, quoted by novini.bg.

The budget that was presented and thrown in the trash was worthless. It was a sham that did not help the country at all. Even if the new budget overcomes the follies of the previous one, it will be an achievement. A miracle cannot be expected, but there are ways to make a meaningful and reasonable budget, he summarized.

The budget projects the policy of a given majority. I do not expect much in the way of achievements here. We are in crisis, the EU is in crisis, Germany, France, etc. We need a different philosophy of the budget - not to give away money, but to cut expenses and not pour money into unreformed sectors. We need a policy of reforms and such a budget. I do not see such intentions, so the maximum I expect is to have a tighter budget, he emphasized.
Business is worried about the conditions, which have been disgusting in recent years. The notorious administrative burden is not only not being reduced, but is increasing with every move, harassment, completely meaningless regulations, Stoychev pointed out.

We must understand that successful societies help small producers not because they are rich, but because they care about small businesses. There is not a single successful society that does not put small and medium-sized businesses first. In Germany, 90% of industry is small and medium-sized businesses, in France - the same. This is the backbone of the system. In our country, it is exactly the opposite - the laws either favor the big ones, or the regulations are not applied at all, the deputy chairman of the Association of Industrial Capital pointed out.

Entering the eurozone no longer depends on us. Bulgaria has signed, we are committed, the question is when. The best thing for the country will be to enter the eurozone when it is prepared for this. We all know that our country is not well prepared at the moment. They say that credit will become cheaper. What if it increases? As part of the eurozone, it will take on that part of Europe's debt that is common. Who will pay for it? The big countries will benefit from this, and we will be left in the queue. Our big problem is that we have a political class that is not interested in this, he explained.
The emergence of large retail chains in Bulgaria has led to many positive things - brightening up business, civilizing business, improving customer service and offering variety. The problem is in the attitude of retail chains towards producers. This is called abuse of excessive trading power, that is, there is no equality, there is arm wringing. The markups that the chain charges towards large producers compared to the markups they charge from Bulgarian producers are many times different. This thing kills the small producer. Currently, small and medium-sized producers receive the least money, they even work at a loss, while the profits go to the intermediary. Bulgarian production is the most important issue of our national security. Hunger will tire everyone out in a crisis, Kancho Stoychev emphasized.

According to him, there is not enough Bulgarian production because the chains are killing it.

Stoychev emphasized that they will support everything leading to equality for the Bulgarian producer, not just tinkering with the pricing policy. Cartels and monopolies must also be eliminated, he added.
