Today, the Prime Minister of the Government of the Republic of North Macedonia, Hristijan Mitskoski, stated before the parliament in Skopje that he sees no reason for the inclusion of Bulgarians in the Constitution of North Macedonia. He asked why Albania does not have the same requirement, given that 8,000 people in the country have declared their Bulgarian identity. Mickoski also said that in the Republic of North Macedonia, according to him, there live “about 700-800 Bulgarians who declare Bulgarian as their mother tongue“.
Now I will tell you what I think about the matter. I am really tired of these people.
This was published on his Facebook page by the leader of ITN Slavi Trifonov. Here are some more of his words:
I can't say whether I am angry or rather sad. This Mickoski was elected democratically. I remember perfectly well how during the elections his entire election campaign was based on hatred for us Bulgarians. That is why they elected him. And he is now speaking like this because of those who elected him. Bulgaria was the first to recognize them as a state, despite our entire history, despite all the fiction they represent, despite all the nonsense they have been saying against us for years and on and on and on. And despite all this, President Zhelev, with a light touch, was the first in the world to recognize them as an independent state. And despite this, and despite all the compromises that all Bulgarian governments, all Bulgarian prime ministers, all Bulgarian presidents have made. And all Bulgarians in general. There is not an ounce of gratitude, a ounce of respect, a ounce of logic. There is nothing. Only hatred and self-deception. However, there are people there who feel like Bulgarians. Who are Bulgarians! And Bulgaria is everywhere where even one Bulgarian lives. And there are many more than one. Many, many, many more. We must take care of them, we must think of them and we must care for them. And the aforementioned Mitskoski, those who elected him and those who enjoy what he says, as far as it depends on me, all of them, headed by Mitskoski, will see the European Union through a crooked lens. Through a very crooked lens!
