I support the people's desire to have fair prices. I do not think that they will be achieved through a boycott. I see it as a PR political action. This is how Denitsa Sacheva from GERB commented to bTV the planned boycott of large retail chains today, reported by novini.bg.
"Wholesale prices have been falling slightly over the last week, I don't know if it is due to the talk on the topic. The decision should be market-based. We do not support the request for a price ceiling. A price ceiling can lead to speculation, as well as the disappearance of products. There must be coordination between all responsible institutions and something that is reasonable, not populist, must be done."
There is no predetermination in the appointments of regulators. Any party can make a nomination. All hearings will be public. What does the opposition expect from us - to work or not to work? The opposition both wants appointments to the regulators and does not want them, said Sacheva.
There are not necessarily appointments to the regulators. Not everything will be done at any cost, she commented.
Denitsa Sacheva added that the constant search under the cow's yoke can lead to a very negative result for the work of the regulators.
"If we want the governing structure to hold, all regulatory bodies must be filled and solutions to the people's problems must be proposed."
"GERB does not support any commission that is proposed. We did not support the one against Peevski, today we will not support it against Prokopiev either."
Sacheva added that it is too early to talk about talks and negotiations, but GERB is keeping the door open for PP-DB, but they kicked it shut.
