Minimum temperatures today will be between minus 8 and minus 3°. In Sofia it will be around minus 7°, BNR reported.
During the day, snowfall in the northeastern regions will begin to stop, but in Southeast Bulgaria snowfall will still continue in many places, in the extreme southeastern regions - precipitation will be rain and snow. In the eastern part of the country, moderate and temporarily strong winds from the north-northeast will continue to blow. In the second half of the day, cloudiness will decrease over the western and central regions. Maximum temperatures will be from minus 3 to 2°, in the capital it will be around minus 1°.
In the mountains before noon, cloudiness will still be significant. Snow will fall in the central and eastern parts of the Balkan Mountains, in the Eastern Rhodopes and Strandzha. After noon, the cloud cover will significantly break up and decrease over the western massifs. There will be a moderate wind from the north-northeast. The maximum temperature at an altitude of 1200 m will be minus 4°C, at 2000 m around minus 10°C.
It will be cloudy along the Black Sea coast with rain and snow. The maximum temperatures will be between 0 and 4°C. The sea water temperature is around 6°C. The sea waves will be 3-4 knots.
