Elena Guncheva-Grivova, a lawyer and former member of parliament in the 47th National Assembly, came out with sharp criticism of the European Union's plans to create a common European army and increase military spending. In an emotional post on social networks, the famous public figure criticized European policy and the consequences of sanctions against Russia.
"Without a doubt, the EU is the country of unlimited possibilities. Only here proven idiots can rule dozens of European countries", begins her position Guncheva, who, in addition to being a lawyer, is also the author of the books "The Deafening Silence of the Bulgarians" and "Bulgaria loves its heroes dead".
The former 2021 vice-presidential candidate draws attention to the economic consequences of sanctions against Russia: "Because of the stupid sanctions against Russia, the European economy is on its knees. A number of factories, especially in the automotive industry, have finally closed. Along with the factories serving the automotive industry. Other productions also did not survive. Nitrogen fertilizers are not imported because they are mainly produced in Russia and agriculture is going to hell".
Guncheva, who has many years of experience as chief legal advisor in the Municipality of Plovdiv (2000-2009) and has been a member of the Plovdiv Bar Association since 2010, expresses particularly strong disagreement with the plans to create a common European army: "And against the backdrop of the increasingly impoverished and brutalized European population, the idiots from the EU want to give 250 billion euros a year to protect themselves... from Russia. So that there could be a common European army!"
In her publication, lawyer Guncheva also criticizes the leadership of the European institutions: "They put a former... companion, to put it mildly, like Analena, in an important post and she decides that she is a military strategist and expert. She cannot manage her libido, she will manage an army!"
The lawyer pays special attention in his position to the social situation in Bulgaria: "Now think about poor Bulgaria, in which pensioners and even workers are languishing in misery, how should it participate in this madness. Instead of money for pensions and children - money for the army of the five P., leading the EU!"
Elena Guncheva is known for her active public position and is the founder of the Association of Adoptees "Where Are You?", which protects the rights of adopted children to access information about their biological parents. In 2022, she left the "Vazrazhdane" party after public controversies, including comments about Russian interference in Bulgaria, which caused an international reaction.
