There is an initial credit of trust in the government. A relatively logical formula. The older parties did something for the purpose of stabilization. We do not yet appreciate as a society that we have a government. We are more in a post-election situation. This was stated by sociologist Parvan Simeonov in the program “Face to Face“ on bTV, quoted by novini.bg.
Borisov himself may at some point reassess the need for such a government. He said he doesn't govern, he may at some point want to become president, he admitted.
Political scientist Lyubomir Stefanov said that so far the government has not done anything to be evaluated. "The budget will be the most important step. Right now we see that everyone is for themselves", he said.
The government is too cautious, the political scientist reported.
„I was horrified by the burning of mannequins at the “Vazrazhdane“ protest. We have to be careful, because it's easy to make something out of nothing. It's easy to make nonsense about burning. It is clear that the Bulgarian will not easily give up their currency, but Kostadinov should know that Bulgarians stay away from extremes“, Simeonov warned.
“The Bulgarian is a conservative moderate and these excesses will not infuriate him, but disgust him. Kostadinov's gang was not protesting, but vandalizing. He is creating sentiments against himself, the Bulgarian will sanction such behavior“, Stefanov added.
“Kostadinov is a convenient opposition for the ruling party. His actions have united the coalition. This government is comfortable because nothing new has appeared yet and now is their chance to do something“, the sociologist also said.
