From PP-DB with a signal to the Anti-Corruption Commission about Glavchev's incompatibility

Today, MPs from the PG of “Continuing the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ officially submitted a signal to the Commission for Combating Corruption and Conflict of Interest (CCP) regarding the alleged incompatibility of the Chairman of the Court of Accounts, Dimitar Borisov Glavchev. This was announced by the coalition in a press release.
The signal is based on data indicating a potential conflict of interest and a violation of the incompatibility requirements provided for in the Law on the Court of Accounts. According to the facts presented, Dimitar Glavchev, in addition to holding the position of Chairman of the Court of Accounts, was also appointed as Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs – a position that, according to the special law, is incompatible with his current position.
„We Continue the Change – Democratic Bulgaria“ insists on a quick check by the CPC and informing the National Assembly of the results. The signal emphasizes that the appointment of Dimitar Glavchev to an additional position outside the provided exceptions constitutes a violation of the law and should be reviewed immediately.
