The Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry together with the Bulgarian-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Industry is preparing a Bulgarian-Greek business forum, which will be held on Thursday, February 27.
The forum will start at 12:00 in the BCCI building, first floor, hall A.
The Greek companies represent the following sectors: trade, import – export, food industry, consulting services, electrical appliances, solar panels, tourism, insurance services, plastic and paper products, innovation, information technology, construction, pharmaceutical and cosmetic industry, real estate, production and trade of food products and raw materials, etc.
Greece is a traditional economic partner of our country. Bilateral trade in 2023 amounted to 4,621.8 million euros. Exports were 2,447.4 million euros, and imports were 2,174.4 million euros. According to information from the Bulgarian National Bank, total investments from Greece in Bulgaria as of the end of 01.01.2024 amounted to 3.570 billion euros.
Bulgaria's accession to the Schengen area is already yielding positive results in bilateral trade relations and the free movement of goods and people.
