The ceremonial dawn inspection was held on the occasion of the national holiday. It began at 18:30 on the square of the “People's Assembly“.
President Rumen Radev accepted the honorary formation of the representative units of the Bulgarian Army. At 18:40, the head of state delivered a speech. Vice President Iliyana Yotova also participated in the ceremony.
The ceremony was also attended by Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov, ministers, deputies and ordinary citizens.
The ceremony was attended by the Guards Representative Brass Band and representative blocks of the National Guard Unit, as well as servicemen from the Joint Forces Command. The commander of the ceremonial torch-inspection was Brigadier General Teodor Todorov – commander of the Communication-Information Support and Cyber Defense Command.
The flags-celebrations of the Bulgarian army were also in formation: Samara Flag, Flag of the 23rd Infantry Shipka Regiment, Flag of the 15th Infantry Lom Regiment, Flag of the 13th Infantry Rila Regiment, Flag of the 25th Infantry Dragoman Regiment, Flag of the 30th Infantry Sheinovo Regiment, Flag of the 6th Infantry Tarnovo Regiment and Flag of the 24th Infantry Black Sea Regiment.
