A scandal in parliament caused a declaration by "Vazrazhdane".
Kostadinov Kostadinov - Chairman of the "Vazrazhdane" party:
"As of yesterday, Bulgaria has acquired its political prisoners. People who are in prison permanently because of their political views. And since this is a declaration to protect the state, I ask everyone from the DPS-NN to leave the hall and never return. Yesterday, the corrupt SCC, owned by Peevski, left four innocent people in prison. Yesterday, Judge Anna Zaharieva left four innocent students in prison permanently, whose only crime is their right to choose. Because in our dictatorship, wanting freedom is a sin. Wanting democracy is a crime.
Currently, the entire PG is being wiretapped. A special operation is currently underway against "Vazrazhdane", with attempts being made to crack passwords. Our sympathizers have been called into the police periodically. The pressure against "Vazrazhdane" is so great that fear reigns in Bulgaria. All this repression is aimed at scaring the Bulgarian people through "Vazrazhdane". It won't happen. No matter how many attempts you make for immunity, with arrests. You won't scare us, you scumbags. I'm turning to Sarafov. Why don't you want my immunity? Come on, demand my immunity. Send me to be arrested. Why don't you do it? Because you're afraid. Victory will be for "Vazrazhdane", because we have a cause, a heart and a soul. Freedom for political prisoners."
Denitsa Sacheva, GERB:
"Please, do not allow this hate speech in the hall, with epithets and insults, and all that happened within the framework of the declaration. If someone cannot defend their positions with good tone, then they are a weak person."
Stanislav Anastasov, DPS - NN:
"Madam President, you are allowing anti-European attacks to pour in here in this hall. You are directly bringing Bulgaria into the rule of law mechanism and allowing everyone in this hall to spout nonsense about the EU and NATO, Madam President, you are not for this place. I ask you to restore the image of Bulgaria as soon as possible by leaving this place."
Radostin Vassilev, MECH:
"Madam Speaker, take a break, you are a laughing stock"
The Speaker of the National Assembly, Natalia Kiselova, announced a 10-minute break and a presidential council.
