Two dead and 9 injured in serious accident in Razgrad region  - 1

Two people died and nine were injured in an accident on the main road E-70, near the junction for the village of Ezerche, the press center of the Regional Directorate (RD) of the Ministry of Interior in Razgrad announced.

The signal for the serious incident was received at around 10:10 p.m. on March 15 at 112.

On site, police teams found that 200 meters before the junction for Ezerche, a "Fiat Doblo", driven by a 58-year-old man from Ezerche, had left a side dirt road, taking away the right-of-way of an "Infiniti" jeep, driven by a 46-year-old man from Razgrad, traveling from Ruse to Razgrad on the main road. The driver of the “Fiat“ died in the impact, and on the way to the hospital in the ambulance, a 62-year-old passenger in the same car from the village of Dryanovets died, the Ministry of Interior's Regional Office in Razgrad noted.

The “Fiat“ was also traveling with a 17-year-old boy from Dryanovets, who is in life-threatening condition in the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care (DIC), a 57-year-old man from Ezerche, with injuries that are not life-threatening, a 44-year-old man from Ezerche, who is not life-threatening, and two children aged five and seven from Ezerche, who are admitted to the Surgical Department of the Razgrad Hospital.

The driver of the jeep has been released for home treatment. His 37-year-old wife and their seven-year-old child are in a surgical ward, out of danger to their lives.

Pre-trial proceedings are underway in the case, the Ministry of Interior's Regional Office in Razgrad informed.

Yesterday, a serious accident between the villages of Sadovo and Novo Leski in Blagoevgrad district claimed three lives.
