The political situation in the country remains unstable, and the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet will face a number of challenges in the coming months. Sociologists Dobromir Zhivkov ("Market Links") and Dimitar Ganev ("Trend") commented on the challenges facing the government on BNT, emphasizing the growing social tension and fragmented parliamentary support.

According to Zhivkov, the budget is the "glue" in the ruling coalition, but it also hides risks for public discontent. "They come up with ideas that we know will not happen, but the budget remains the unifying territory," he commented. At the same time, if public pressure intensifies, the government could find itself in a situation of permanent crisis.

Zhivkov warned that corruption scandals and accumulated public discontent could lead to a new wave of protests. He drew a parallel with the situation in Serbia, where discontent with the authorities led to prolonged street demonstrations.

Dimitar Ganev of "Trend" stressed that social tension related to rising prices is underestimated, but could become a key factor for the future stability of the government. "People's perception of rising prices does not allow them to really feel the increase in their incomes," he pointed out.

Ganev noted that the record-breaking fragmented parliament is an indicator of the depth of the political crisis in the country. The entry of "Velichy" as the ninth political force has serious consequences, including questioning the legitimacy of the elections and further endangering the parliamentary majority.

Despite the unstable situation, Ganev believes that the government will continue to "buy time" at least until June. "The fact that "Velichy" entered parliament does not automatically mean early elections," he commented. At the same time, the difficulty in maintaining a parliamentary majority of 121 deputies raises serious questions about the long-term sustainability of the cabinet.

In view of all these factors, experts warn that the government will operate in conditions of high tension, with the coming months being key to its survival.
