An attempt is being made to return Bulgaria to the Russian sphere of influence again. This is being done mainly by President Rumen Radev with the invaluable help of Delyan Peevski and parties - Russian proxies - such as "Vazrazhdane" and "Majesty".
This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by PP-DB MP Ivaylo Mirchev and emphasized that the position of Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov and the government is correct at this stage and can count on the support of PP-DB when it comes to the geopolitical orientation of the country, the eurozone and all anti-corruption policies, if the government decides to implement such.
"A few weeks ago, Delyan Peevski was sitting in a revolutionary pose in front of the presidency and shouting "Mr. Cash, Mr. Cash", and this suddenly disappeared, even Peevski came out and stated that he supports the president, and Peevski's media outlets are publishing the presidency's press releases. This is a total U-turn by Peevski regarding the president, in the same way that Peevski made a U-turn regarding Ukraine and declared himself against aid for Ukraine," he commented and pointed out that from the very beginning of this government, Peevski has been in the role of the ruling opposition, which was evident in the support of the MRF-NN for the budget on first reading.
We can never be anyone's golden finger, said Mirchev regarding the possible support of the PP-DB for the government and explained:
"We have no problem supporting the right-wing policies that the government proposes in the budget on second reading".
There are no talks with the PP-DB about participating in the ruling majority, the MP emphasized categorically:
"The responsibility lies with those who govern, we are trying to be a constructive opposition, and not to bear responsibility for the stupid things that are done in government, such as the fact that "We are on the way to reload the regulators with Peevski's people. We propose independent people, but at this stage they have no chance of being elected, unlike Peevski's candidates, who are being pushed through the ITN and BSP."
According to Ivaylo Mirchev, Peevski's idea for shops in local post offices is to buy votes during elections:
"The lists of voters in these shops in small settlements will turn into a list of voters who must vote in the right way. The same thing happens with forestry enterprises. The head of the Forestry Department is the most important person because he provides the firewood. Peevski controls a huge part of the forestry holdings through the Minister of Agriculture".

The problem is not in the Constitutional Court, but in the fact that "once again the prosecutor's office, controlled by Delyan Peevski, was used for one political purpose or another", believes Mirchev and expressed the opinion that the Constitutional Court did not do its job well in the case of the legality of the elections for members of parliament in the 51st National Assembly held on October 27:
"We PP-DB sent a letter to the Constitutional Court weeks ago with a request for more transparency in this case and to allow observers into the counting process".
