The leader of GERB Boyko Borisov has been playing with Delyan Peevski from the very beginning and the two are conducting a synchronized attack against the free citizens of yesterday's protest, at which Vasil Bozhkov - the Skull - appeared unwanted and uninvited. This was stated by the representatives of the leadership of “Yes, Bulgaria” Ivaylo Mirchev and Bozhindar Bozhanov on the sidelines of the National Assembly.
“Boyko Borisov went to bed with Delyan Peevski. In the morning, the two smoke cigars in the office, synchronize and conduct pathetic attacks like today's. Borisov has never sought our support for the government, the eurozone, the regulators or anything else. We have won all the moves regarding the eurozone as an opposition - the way a true opposition force in the Bulgarian parliament should behave,” said Ivaylo Mirchev.
His colleague Bozhidar Bozhanov recalled that “Democratic Bulgaria” was removed from the government negotiations at the moment when it became clear that the measures to limit Peevski's influence were unacceptable to the majority of GERB, BSP and ITN.
Ivaylo Mirchev emphasized that he does not know and has never seen Vasil Bozhkov, and his presence at yesterday's free civil protest under the slogan “Peevski out of power” will not erase his participation in the corruption schemes through which millions in bribes have flowed.
“The free people at the protest are not commanded by anyone, they are not organized and are not controlled - they come out to express their opinion. If Borisov and Peevski had ever participated in such protests, they would understand what drives them. No one brings them in buses, no one dictates their posters, but no one walks among them with security, as Peevski does at his rallies and demonstrations”, Mirchev was categorical.
The people's representative added that no one can belittle the will of the protesters for Bulgaria to be a normal European country. According to him, Peevski and Borisov are incapable of imagining the aspirations of free Bulgarian citizens, and their attack against them is an expression of common fears and interests. Regarding Bozhkov, Mirchev commented:
“Instead of presenting himself as an awakened and rebellious citizen, Bozhkov should clearly explain why he gave those 60 million leva to Borisov and Goranov, as he himself claims. Explain in detail for what purpose and for what he gave them. What advantages did he receive for himself and his business in return? What is needed is not a square presence, but recognition of how the schemes that Bozhkov generously fed with bribes work,” concluded Mirchev.
