The National Assembly early this morning adopted the budgets of BNT, BNR and BTA for 2025 on second reading, BTA reports.
The provisions were approved together with the budgets of the municipalities with 139 votes "for", 57 "against" and 20 "abstains".
The funds earmarked for BNR for this year amount to 66,132,500 leva, including 3,900,000 leva under the Radio and Television Act. Last year, 62,974,400 leva were recorded.
For BNT, 93,665,000 leva have been recorded for 2025, including 6,100,000 leva under the Radio and Television Act. Last year, the funds for BNT approved in the budget amounted to 86,980,600 leva, and for
The funds planned for BTA amount to 15,668,600 leva. For 2024, the transfer from the central budget for BTA amounted to 11,856,500 leva, and 2 million leva were also planned for additional financing, including remuneration for strengthening the capacity and activities of BTA, and for BTA correspondent bureaus.
For this year, during the discussion of the culture budget, BTA Director General Kiril Valchev called on the parliament to equate remuneration in public media with teacher salaries.
