About 30% of Bulgarians should have new early parliamentary elections. In new elections, 8 parties would enter parliament. The top three are from GERB, PP-DB and "Vazrazhdane". "Velichye" is on the verge of entering parliament. Another 46 percent are of the opinion that the current government should continue to govern. The remaining 24% cannot judge.
This is shown by the data from a sociological survey by the "Trend" agency, conducted in the period 10-16 March among 1020 adults, commissioned by "24 hours". The interviews were conducted using the "face to face" method.
25% of respondents are of the opinion that the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov will serve a full 4-year term. At the opposite pole are 55% of the respondents. The remaining 20 percent cannot judge. The continuation of the government of the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet meets significantly higher support among the voters of the parties from the ruling majority – almost 100% of GERB supporters, three quarters of those voting for ITN, two thirds of those for BSP and 6 out of 10 voters for “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms“. Among voters of opposition parties, early elections are the more preferred alternative.
55% believe that the government will not serve a full term. This opinion is more widespread among voters of opposition parties, but is also shared by about a fifth of GERB supporters, 4 out of 10 of those for “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms“, half of those for ITN, as well as 6 out of 10 voters for BSP.
Support for the government is 27 percent, and disapproval - 50%. The National Assembly, on the other hand, enjoys only 15 points of approval against 78 percent disapproval. The approval of the presidential institution is 40%, and the disapproval - 45 percent.
Current electoral attitudes show that in new elections, 8 parties would enter parliament. GERB-SDF is the first political force with 26.7%. In second place is PP-DB with 13.6%. The top three are completed by Vazrazhdane with 12.5.
The fourth position is for DPS Novo nastav with 10.9%. In fifth place is BSP United Left with 6.9 percent. DPS-DPS wins 6.7 percent. ITN collects 5.9 percent. MECH also enters parliament with 5.7 percent.
Velichye remains below the line with 3.9 points. Blue Bulgaria collects 1.1 percent support. 6.1% of respondents would support another political formation.
