The worship service before the mortal remains of Captain Marin Marinov, who died in the Gaza Strip, will be on Sunday, March 30, at the church of "St. Nicholas the Wonderworker" in Yambol, dariknews.bg reported.
The 51-year-old Marinov, who was a UN employee, died on March 19 during a humanitarian mission.
The worship service begins at 12 p.m. in the church in the city center, after which Captain Marinov's funeral will be in the central cemetery park.
On March 19, during the destruction of a building of the international organization UN, the Bulgarian died, and five of his colleagues from different countries were seriously injured. Israel has categorically denied any involvement in the strike.
