He showed another picture of Siyana, on which she had drawn a terrified child's face - speechless. Nikolay reads signs in all of her drawings.
„Speechless, because children cannot say anything - the ones who are in heaven and are no longer there. The eye is perhaps hers or our eyes that cry for her“, he said.
„The most brutal thing is that she was so blurred that I could not see her. Her grandfather's condition is very serious - with a traumatic brain injury. He has almost lost one arm. But somehow he wakes up and is kept in a medically induced coma. This man has hellish strength, but I don't know how he will live after the accident, because this was his favorite grandchild. He lived for her, it will be terribly difficult for him. I am sure it will come to life“, said Nikolay Popov.
According to him, there must be normal roads.
„No matter what laws are adopted, if we do not have normal roads and conditions for driving on them, this will continue to happen. On this road, where Siyana died, there are three or four accidents in three months. That makes 140 accidents per year. One victim every month. On this road alone, if we do not take measures, 12 people will die“, said Nikolay.
„The paradox is that for many years I have been helping road safety, I have done various causes. I have participated in various initiatives. I am very dangerous for the system, because I know it very well. And I already see some negativity of the system against me. "Obviously, interests are at stake here," Siyana's father pointed out.
"Three or four pen holders at some low level - these are fuses. This system is made with fuses - the small fuse burns, the bigger one, the biggest one. Only the small fuses burned here", he added.
Interior Minister Daniel Mitov is not answering my phone. I asked for his assistance, because the qualification for Siyana's murder was one article, which is the same punishment as if I smashed your studio with a car. If I hadn't taken action, the man who killed my child would have been free," said Siyana's father.
He turned to Daniel Mitov to take measures and have these crimes investigated by competent people.
„I thank the Prosecutor General for giving the National Police Service an investigation, because experts are needed - this is a very complicated catastrophe“, said Nikolay Popov.
„Boyko Borisov called me and promised me that he would make a way and that he would take measures for those in the RIA to leave. Because they accused me on a television station of advertising for him. Boris Bonev called me and Vasil Terziev called me. There is no politics here, there can be no politics in this matter. If it weren't for you, the media, Siyana would be two lines on some third-rate site. And now it is the face of this struggle and the flag of what we are doing“, pointed out the child's father.
“This road has been getting tragically bad in recent years because there is no maintenance. It has never been so busy, apparently traffic from all over Europe has been directed through it. It is truck after truck. Potholes, no markings, bad pavement. The RIA responds with a letter to Diana Rusinova that everything is fine and the road is wonderful“, added Nikolay Popov.
He called on politicians to unite around the causes that are important for the country and to stop talking nonsense in order to work for the people. And as for him - he was categorical that he will continue Siyana's cause, because of which she died on the road.
