We will continue to introduce votes of no confidence, this is how we hinder the corruption agenda of this government.

This was said to the Bulgarian National Radio by MP Petar Petrov, deputy chairman of the PG of "Vazrazhdane".

"Our voters want us to use these tools of parliamentary democracy. We use them and will continue to use them. We have shown that we are fighting against this government, which depends on Delyan Peevski, we have shown who supports it. ... Our goal has always been to show that this government is commanded and managed by Peevski".
Petar Petrov specified that consultations have already been held to submit a vote of no confidence to the "Zhelyazkov" cabinet on the topic of corruption:

"With MECH and "Velichy" we have 54 votes on paper. ... The problem of this government is not only corruption. Internal security, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, healthcare, education? What other topic can I open on which there is no possibility of submitting a vote of no confidence. This is a criminal government and its only goal is to steal from the state, even with the external debt, which is expected to be withdrawn up to 19 billion. leva, 1/3 of which will go to state-owned enterprises that are initially loss-making and serve as mailboxes for public procurement of hollow private companies, which steals billions from our state. We must not allow him to be in power for another day".
The MP from "Vazrazhdane" expressed the opinion that the case of the smuggling channel in Plovdiv is one of many examples of "the corrupt management of the Ministry of Interior in recent decades, which does not conduct any fight against crime - domestic, criminal, on the roads and organized crime":

"The inspections in the Ministry of Interior are completely formal. ... If we do not submit a vote of no confidence, each topic will be for 3 days, like many others so far. ... Congratulations to the conscientious police officers who fulfill what they swore to do, but the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs is in the service of oligarchic and political circles"
In the program "Nedelya 150" Petar Petrov commented on the need to rearm the Bulgarian army, emphasizing that this should be done in the interest of taxpayers:

"When we can produce anti-tank missiles in Bulgaria for 154 million dollars, something that was voted on two weeks ago in parliament, why then should we pay the US. Something that we can inject into our economy, why should we give it abroad. ... We want there to be a reorientation towards the Bulgarian economy if possible, and not someone from the outside to impose it on us".
According to Petrov, "the camps in the world are being rearranged" and now the war is fought on the commercial map, not the military one:

"We must participate in some form in these new alliances so that we do not find ourselves on the losing side again. ... We can have partners and good relations with both the countries in the East and the countries in the West".
