DPS-DPS will support the vote of no confidence against the government - 1

The parliamentary group of “Democracy, Rights and Freedoms" - DPS will support the vote of no confidence. This was stated by Hysni Adem from the parliamentary group of DPS-DPS. The declaration states that "the government was voted in exactly three months ago with the support of DPS with honorary chairman Ahmed Dogan". Adem recalled that with their support for the budget they demonstrated the behavior of statesmen first and then politicians.

The state needed to stop the electoral spiral, Adem pointed out and stated that the MRF-DPS still want Bulgaria to have political stability, to have a budget that is not ideal, but is possible after several caretaker governments that have brought the country to a state of crisis. In the words of Hysni Adem, instead of the expected normality in a country, we are witnessing the exact opposite - – – "a corrupt and dependent state from one person, with which we motivated ourselves to enter this majority in order to dismantle, by signing a declaration for a sanitary cordon, together with the other partners participating in this government, the BSP and the ITN".

Three months after the formation of this government and with the motives that we entered at the time, we firmly and categorically declare that we will support the vote of no confidence. Today, the problem of problems in our country is the widespread corruption, starting from the highest levels of power, reaching the ordinary office in a given state institution, Adem said.

The declaration also states that instead of dismantling the vicious model, in recent months we have witnessed its consolidation. State institutions continue to be used for repression, the judicial system is still dependent, and corruption and smuggling are flourishing, the MP insisted.

Despite our consistent calls and insistence on compliance with the signed agreement for joint governance, for open and equal relations between the partners, unfortunately GERB-SDF, BSP-OL and ITN have abandoned the cordon sanitaire. Driven by responsibility to Bulgarian citizens and our voters, we clearly state that we can no longer and will not support a majority that maintains and develops the behind-the-scenes model, Adem pointed out.
