This conclusion can be drawn after "Save Sofia" quite officially announced that Vasil Terziev is leaving.

The decision is not a surprise - Boris Bonev's people have long been gnashing their teeth about all the madness that is happening in the capital, about the accumulation of problems that no one is solving, about the non-transparent appointments and the absolute timelessness that the government has fallen into. Vasil Terziev is like the Yeti, the mythical beast called Bigfoot - there are witnesses who claim that Sofia has a mayor, but there is no real evidence of this.
Of course, Bonev and his party are not innocent.
For two years they turned a blind eye to the catastrophe in Sofia, to the absurdities of the government and to the absolute lack of vision demonstrated by Vasil Terziev.
Moreover - the young party allowed itself to be strangled and brought to an almost lifeless state by the political tricks of the old restitutist gluttonous and sectarian right, who not only pushed their own man for mayor, but then (typical of their style) completely buried the idea of any reforms.
And today the result is there - Sofia is half-dead, without any perspective, with a destroyed group of the ruling class and without any vital signs.
A true tragicomedy.
Today, many people have turned an accusatory eye on the last parliamentary elections and claim that they were the most unfair in the history of the transition.
The elections were a complete mess, but the vote in Sofia in 2023 set this tone.
For two years now, Vanya Grigorova's case against the winner with a lead of only 5 thousand votes has been rolling through the swamp of administrative justice.
However, the Supreme Administrative Court clearly ruled on several striking violations - there are no flash drives from the machine voting. This is like opening a bag of ballots and finding only scissors and tape.
There were massive crossings of votes in the SIC protocols because the machine of the fat right was looking to make its sponsor mayor and violated all election rules. The elections in Sofia in 2023 are a vivid example of how falsifications, substitutions, and falsified results always lead to a political crisis, because in murky waters the biggest sediments emerge.
The situation is more than dramatic. "Save Sofia" has eight municipal councilors, which means that the PP-DB group is down 14 people. They already do not have a majority because of all their political schemes, and now they are already falling into permanent isolation. In this situation, the only salvation for Sofia is a new mayor.
Either new elections, or the court must understand that it is high time to rule on the unfair elections in the capital in 2023.
Otherwise, Sofia will be stuck in an unending political crisis for another two years, something like a permanent hangover that only causes nausea and the desire to throw yourself off a higher terrace. With his epic incompetence, Terziev and the political forces behind him made Fandakova look like a rosy dream. This is also unforgivable. Where are the millionaire's singers now, why have they hidden like microbes in their political holes, and not come out to tell us how great "our Vasko" is?
