Prime Minister Rosen Zhelyazkov is a good balancer and is much more rational. I doubt that he can ever become a great politician, because he is more of a technocrat, knows the political scene and knows what his opponents think. The two votes of no confidence were unnecessary shows. This was stated by the director of the Anti-Corruption Fund Boyko Stankushev to BTV.
He explained that in the next 100 days there will be nothing unusual and unexpected for the government of Rosen Zhelyazkov. What will the upheavals of any nature bring? They will not bring anything good, Stankushev commented.
According to him, there is a high degree of tolerance in society towards the government in the form of the first hundred days and there will be tolerance as long as the PP-DB shows understanding, no matter how much they are reviled. The only thing that matters is that the economy remains stable and that there is no deviation from the Euro-Atlantic line, Boyko Stankushev urged. He believes that there must be collective reason in Bulgarian society. When there is total impoverishment, upheavals or scandalous cases, it will be from the ministries that are held by the BSP, which have lost the reflex and experience to cover up their oppressions, Stankushev pointed out.
Political scientist Georgi Harizanov said that he hopes that the BSP-United Left will leave the government, but there is an increasingly solid majority against new elections.
He is keeping his fingers crossed that the BSP will follow the path of Democracy, Rights and Freedoms and that the government will become fundamentally and ideologically unified, without socialists in government.
Harizanov is of the opinion that there is a deficit of large-scale plans in government. Our economy should not remain stable, but should grow quickly, actively and now.
It will take a lot of energy, emphasized Georgi Harizanov.
