Hristo Prodanov: "Unruly Bulgaria" is the moral and managerial alternative to the "Borisov-Peevski" model - 1

"Bulgaria deserves something more than Borisov and Peevski, something better. And "Unruly Bulgaria" was founded by people who realize this and see that as long as Borisov and Peevski are at the helm of this country, nothing good awaits us".

This was stated to the Bulgarian National Radio by Hristo Prodanov – part of the Executive Council of "Unruly Bulgaria". The new formation came out with a strong claim to be the moral managerial alternative to the current government. The leader of "Unruly Bulgaria" Cornelia Ninova presented a plan for a powerful economic program with emphasis on different sectors.

"You know, in history, great changes have been carried out by independent, irreconcilable, rebellious people. These were the people who participated yesterday in the founding and Constituent Assembly of "Rebellious Bulgaria". I see that we are gaining more and more popularity and more and more people want to join our ranks, which gives me a lot of hope that we Bulgarians have really not resigned, we have not given up and that great change can really happen in Bulgaria and that it will go down the path of development, and not the path of stagnation and decline that we have been on in recent years," said Hristo Prodanov.

And when asked about the BSP, he replied: "The BSP belongs to Peevski, after the coup that was carried out. And yes - there are quite a few disappointed people".

"Our potential and our choice of personnel, of people, is primarily those over 70% of non-voting Bulgarians who, in one form or another, have been lied to by the various political parties, disappointed by what the parties they voted for have done after they are in parliament. We can look people in the eye. There are no ones we have betrayed and sold out, no matter what this has cost us over the years", Hristo Prodanov was categorical.

He emphasized that anyone who is against the “Borisov-Peevski“ model, who believes that there is an alternative, is welcome in "Unruly Bulgaria".

According to him, at the moment the entire left, the great left-wing unity, so proclaimed before the elections, has embraced Borisov and Peevski. "They share the values of Borisov and Peevski", Hristo Prodanov pointed out, emphasizing that the ambition of "Unruly Bulgaria" is to represent the authentic left and left-thinking people in Bulgaria. And he added:

"The mechanical unification of leaders and parties, which are each in a carriage of people, in our opinion makes no sense. Politics is made on the basis of ideas, principles and values, and not on the basis of a few people settling in power".

"Peevski is the leader of the parallel state", Hristo Prodanov was categorical in response to the question of whether Peevski behaves like a left-wing leader.

"Bulgaria needs cardinal changes - "from cutting to bone". This tumor has taken over the entire country. Everything that surrounds us must be constructed in an extremely new and clean way, so that it starts working for the benefit of the people, and not as before - for the benefit of the mafia and the parallel state. This must be done by rebellious Bulgarians - such as those who are members of our organization, in "Rebellious Bulgaria", Prodanov said.

Asked about his relationship with the president, he was categorical: "Our position - both before and now towards the president and the presidential institution has always been principled. When they made changes to the Constitution and introduced the so-called house book, changes that we see did not lead to anything good, but only cemented Borisov and Peevski, even through caretaker governments, in power - our position was that caretaker governments should continue to be appointed by the president. We defended the president's position. But when there are contracts like “Botas“, which cause enormous damage to the state, our national interest and Bulgarian citizens, then there is no way we can defend the actions of the president and his official cabinet“, Hristo Prodanov gave examples.

“This parliament is fake, it is stillborn, so is the government. I will take you back to 2020 when there were protests and we were all in the square against Borisov and Peevski. Everyone, except us, in one form or another, configuration or assembly, sat on the lap of Borisov and Peevski. That is why we are turning to the pure, independent and rebellious people who believe that this change is possible“, Prodanov pointed out in the political conversation.

“Rebellious Bulgaria“ will work to convene a Grand National Assembly, confirmed the message of the forum yesterday, Hristo Prodanov. According to him, a majority for a change in the Constitution could come through the activity of non-voters, who would elect formations that want such a change.
