A major cleaning was carried out on the capital's "Slaveykov" square. The teams of the "Emergency Assistance and Prevention" Directorate cleaned the graffiti from the walls of the Capital Library building and from the benches with a steam cleaner, as well as the fountain in the center of the square. All election posters have been removed. The benches and trash cans are about to be repainted.
"Slaveykov" square is only part of the major cleaning of central places in the capital. So far, 6 underpasses have been cleaned, as well as the Seminary bridge.
The municipality admits that despite attempts to make the hunger look clean, vandalism continues. Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev is adamant that the municipal authorities will not tolerate irresponsible treatment of the spaces we all share.
