American actress Demi Moore won the "Golden Globe" award for best actress in a motion picture - musical or comedy for her work in the film Substance (2024), CBS reported.
In the race for the award, Moore beat Zendaya for her role as Tasha in the film Challengers (2024) and Mikey Madison, who played the role of Annie in the film Anora (2024).
Moore, who has starred in more than 70 films, managed to win the statuette on her third attempt. She was previously nominated for a Golden Globe in 1991 and 1997, but both times the awards went to other actresses.
The "Golden Globe" awards, presented annually by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association, are second only to the "Oscars" in terms of prestige in the United States.
The award is awarded based on the results of the previous year in more than 20 categories covering film and television.
