Jewellery worth over £10m and designer handbags worth £150,000 have been stolen from a London home, Sky News reported, quoted by BNR.
The theft took place on the evening of December 7, but police have only now released a statement about the incident. The perpetrator is described as a white man aged between 20 and 30, wearing a dark hoodie, and possibly armed. He entered the house through a second-floor window and stole Hermes Crocodile Kelly handbags, £15,000 in cash and £10.4 million worth of jewellery, including unique pieces such as necklaces and bracelets encrusted with precious stones.
The owners are offering a £500,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect, and a second reward of 10% of the value of any jewellery recovered. The theft took place on one of the most expensive streets in the UK, where the average house price is £15.2 million, according to Lloyds Bank.
