Chinese astronauts set a record of 9 hours outside the spacecraft, NOVA reported.

They went for a walk in open space. The previous such attempt was in 2001. Recently, China said that by 2030 they will also set foot on the moon.

We recall that two other astronauts from the American space agency NASA, who are currently on board the International Space Station (ISS), will not return to Earth until February 2025. The reason is technical problems.

Butch Wilmore and Sunny Williams are to return with another spacecraft – SpaceX's “Dragon“, and not Boeing's “Starliner“, NASA explained.

Meanwhile, it became clear that Russia and the United States will continue their cooperation in space in the coming years, despite the tension on Earth, DPA reported, quoted by dariknews.bg.

The Russian space agency "Roscosmos" announced in Moscow that it will conduct new joint flights with NASA to the International Space Station (ISS) by 2027. During this period, two flights with Russian space capsules "Soyuz" to the ISS and three with manned capsules "Dragon" of "SpaceX" are planned, "Interfax" reported in Moscow, citing data from "Roscosmos".

This will ensure the reliability of the ISS's operation, "Roscosmos" said. The Russian agency also announced that its cosmonauts will be able to stay on the ISS longer - seven to nine months instead of the average six.
