The discussion "for" and "against" the study of religion as a separate subject shows what will happen when and if the intention becomes a reality.
It is obvious that the idea is proposed a little artificially, a little forcefully, a little redundantly and absolutely unnecessary.
What should happen due to its social necessity usually happens naturally, because there is a real need for it.
And in this case, the feeling remains that an activity is being marked, wasting social energy, behind the mask of "how spiritual, moral and concerned we are for the children, who must be prepared to respond with goodness to the hostile world".
The introduction of the subject is deeply unnecessary, stupid, pretentious, laborious and will ultimately turn into a complete farce.
Anyone who has not entered a classroom in recent years does not know in what atmosphere "serious" hours, and what about a subject that won't even have a grade and the children will drool freely and happily mess with the bearded external lecturers.
At least in three existing subjects, one can learn quite enough about the main religions.
