In the other group match, Colombia beat Costa Rica 3-0 to secure a place in the next phase. Correct for the winners were Luis Diaz, Davinson Sanchez and John Cordoba. Thus, the Colombians secured a place in the next phase with an asset of 6 points, while Costa Rica with only 1 will hope for a miracle in the last matches to dislodge Brazil from the second position.
