Vladimir Zografski finished in 29th place in the first of the two competitions of the Ski Jumping World Cup on the large hill in Titisee-Neustadt, Germany, BTA reports. The Bulgarian, who entered in 45th place in the qualification, made jumps of 127.5 and 125 meters, which brought him a total of 227.3 points.
The winner of the competition was the representative of the hosts Pius Paschke. The German collected 294.1 points after jumps of 144 and 138 meters and recorded his fourth victory of the season.
Gregor Deschwanden came in second with 287.7 points. The Swiss entered with the first result of the qualification, but his jumps of 142.5 and 136.5 meters were weaker than those of Paschke, which deprived him of the opportunity to fight for the victory.
Austrian Daniel Chofenich also found a place on the podium, finishing with 281.7 points after attempts of 137.5 and 137 meters.
In the World Cup standings, Paschke leads with 576 points. Chofenich is second with 440 points, and in third position after seven competitions is Austrian Jan Hörl with 406 points.
Vladimir Zografski is in 35th place with 21 points.
