Japanese Ryoyu Kobayashi won the first start of the Ski Jumping World Cup on the large hill in the Japanese winter resort of Sapporo, BTA reports. The Japanese collected 286.4 points, after recording attempts of 137.0 and 136.5 meters. For Kobayashi, this is the 33rd individual victory in his career and the first since March 12 last year.

Second was Jan Hörl (Austria) with 266.7 points (136.5 and 137.5 meters), and third was Domen Prevc (Slovenia) with 266.2 points (137.5 and 135.5 meters). World Cup winner Stefan Kraft (Austria) finished sixth with 260.0 points (134.0 and 135.5 meters).

Austrian Daniel Chofenich is the leader in the general standings for the season with 1556 points. Today he remained fourth with 266.1 points. He is followed by Jan Hörl with 1383, Kraft with 982 points and others.

Bulgarian Vladimir Zografski did not participate in the competition. He occupies 30th position in the standings with 110 points. Tomorrow in Sapporo there is another start of the Ski Jumping World Cup.
