The Slavia Prague team won the Czech championship for the 22nd time, BTA reported.
"The Red and Whites" secured the title in the first match of the playoff phase, after they won 5:0 in their visit to Sigma Olomouc and opened an insurmountable 16-point gap over second-placed Viktoria Plzen, who have five more matches to play.
For the victory over Sigma, Vasil Kušej scored a hat-trick, and Tomas Hory added two more goals.
Slavia wins the title in the Czech Republic for the first time since the 2020/21 season, and this is the eighth championship trophy for the team since the collapse of Czechoslovakia.
